What are the core-courses?
4 Years of English
2 Years of Mathematics (Algebra I or higher)
2 Years of Natural/ Physical Science (1 year of lab if offered)
1 Year of additional course of the above
2 Years of Social Science
3 Years of additional courses (from any of the above, foreign language, nondoctrinal religion/ philosophy)
How does the scale work?
Example:
GPA= 3.55 (or higher)
The SAT score can be 400 or ACT can be 37
GPA= 2.0
The SAT score must be 1010 or ACT must be 86

NCAA Eligibility Guidelines
1. To be eligible to practice or compete, you must be enrolled as a full-time student, be in good academic standing, and maintain satisfactory progress towards a Baccalaureate or equivalent degree.
2. You have 10 full-time semesters of enrollment to compete in 4 seasons of a sport.
What does this mean?
If you are accepted to a school you are granted eligibility. To "maintain" that eligibility you must follow the schools guidelines determining continued eligibility.
